Imran Khan will be welcomed in Jinnah Ground: Altaf Hussain

London: 8th April 2015
MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has said political parties should show tolerance towards each other in spite of their political and ideological differences. No one should be targeted on the basis of personal likes and dislikes.

He said this while addressing a large number of people, including women and children, in Jinnah Ground in Azizabad who had come to attend a musical programme.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Hussain said PTI leader Imran Khan was welcome in Jinnah Ground. “I have heard that Imran Khan will come to Jinnah Ground in a day or two and offer fateha on the Yadgar-e-Shuhada. I welcome him in Karachi.”
“Real and healthy democracy can take roots and prosper by promoting the feelings of mutual tolerance and coexistence. It will also strengthen unity in the country.”
Mr Hussain appealed to the male voters of constituency NA-246 to encourage women to cast their votes in favour of MQM candidate.
“No one can force people to love someone against their will. Faces of women and children present in this gathering are glittering with happiness. Such beautiful expressions of happiness on the faces of people are quite uncommon these days. This love and happiness among mothers, sisters and children is only for Altaf Hussain which would not be seen anywhere else.”
He asked the MQM sympathisers to focus on their work and not get distracted by opponents.
Mr Hussain said, “We want peace and tranquillity in the entire world.”
Mr Hussain praised the artists performing in the musical programme.
