The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of MQM worker of Orangi Sector Muhammad Saleem Asghar after being injured in a firing incident by the terrorists of a banned-outfit.
The Coordination Committee demanded the federal and provincial governments to take immediate action against the banned-outfits targeting MQM workers and people of a specific school of though. It said that Orangi Town had become the stronghold of the banned-outfits and other terrorist groups.
The Committee said that the concerned authorities were taking no action against those terrorists involved in killings of a number of MQM workers and others. It said that the people were questioning that why did such sectarian killings carry out only in Karachi?
The Coordination Committee demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, COAS General Raheel Sharif, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to arrest the murderers of MQM workers. It also prayed almighty Allah to confer high eternal rank to the deceased and bestow courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
