CONVERSATION WITH OFFICE-BEARERS AND WORKERS IN SUKKUR

LONDON: 14TH JANUARY 2012
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the MQM would deliver the oppressed and downtrodden people from the brutalities of the feudal lords. He said that the public convention of the MQM in Sukkur on 20th January will announce the victory for the truthful philosophy of the MQM. He was talking to the office-bearers of different wings of the MQM in Sukkur on the telephone.

Mr Hussain said that the poor peasants and farmers were deprived of their basic rights. The feudal lords had reduced them into a state of slavery. The poor people were subjected to inhuman torture in the private jails. Schools were converted into personal courtyards taking away the right of education from children.

Mr Hussain said that the MQM recognized the religious minorities as the equal citizens according to the teachings of the Quaid-i-Azam. It was striving for their legitimate rights.

Mr Hussain thanked Allah that the message of the MQM was gaining wide acceptance in the public. Selfless workers of other political parties, besides poor and exploited people, were beginning to realize that the MQM was the real representative political party of the poor peasants, farmers, and labourers. They felt that the workers who gave sacrifices and worked hard were honoured. It is because of this belief that they were also coming into the fold of the MQM.

Mr Hussain impressed upon the students to devote on their education and work with honesty. He asked them to respect their parents and teachers and follow discipline.

Mr Hussain appealed to the people living in Sukkur and the adjoining areas, particularly the students, youth, women and elders to come to attend the convention in Sukkur on 20th January with friends and family and make it a memorable event in the history of Pakistan.

Mr Hussain commended the worker, especially the workers of the women wing, for working day night in preparation for the Sukkur Convention.
