People demand to ban Jamaat-e-Islami: MQM spokesman

The MQM spokes person responding on the statement of Secretary Information Jamaat-e-Islami, said that the demand to ban on Jamaat-e-Islami was the people’s desire.
In a statement, he said that the delegates and participants of the last day conference on “The Changing Situation of the World & Inter-Faith Harmony,” demanded to ban on Jamaat-e-Islami in context with former JI Chief Manawar Hassan’s statement about killing in the name of Allah or security personnel embraced martyrdom in the war against terror were not martyrs.
He said that the demand was not come from MQM but the patriotic Pakistanis demanded to ban the country’s foes. He said that JI tried to manipulate the situation and blamed on MQM for demanding ban on Jamaat-e-Islami rather admitting the fact that people of Pakistan realized their hypocrisy.
The MQM Spoke person said that the famous terrorist Arshad Waheed was an active worker of Jamaat-e-Islami and was a member of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association, which was the sub-organization of Jamaat-e-Islami. He said that Arshad was involved with Al-Qaida and other terrorists’ organizations, including Jandullah and was killed in a drone attack 14th March 2008 in North Waziristan.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami recruited people in Karachi and utilized them in various terrorists’ attacks throughout the country. JI worker Kashif Hussain was killed in a drone attack in North Waziristan. He said that Sanaullah, Shabbir Hussain, Tanvirul Islam and Zuhair Imtiaz Qadwai, were the active members of JI students’ wing Islami Jamiat Talba, were killed in the drone attacks in December 2009 in North Waziristan.
Abdul Rehman Shujaat was also killed in a drone attack in Miranshah reflected the close bonding of the terrorists and their organization with Jamaat-e-Islami and their leader as it was on record that terrorists of various attacks were found in their houses. He said that the terrorists of Thunder Squad made riot and opened fires at the French Consulate.
He said that while the Taliban terrorists killing Pakistani people and their innocent children, Jamaat-e-Islami demanded to start negotiations with Taliban terrorists. He said that such a treacherous pseudo religious-political party should be banned immediately.
