CERTAIN ELEMENTS IN SINDH ARE TRYING TO SPARK OFF VIOLENCE IN SINDH

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the incident of firing on a passenger bus bound for Kohat near the town of Qazi Ahmed in Sindh by armed terrorists. The committee expressed its grief and sorrow over the deaths of several persons in the attack and injuries suffered by some other passengers.
The Co-ordination Committee said that indiscriminate firing on innocent on the passenger bus was an act of barbarism and blatant terrorism. The committee warned that some elements in Sindh were conspiring to spark off violence by creating acrimonies and bitterness among the permanent residents of Sindh. The terrorist incident occurring in Qazi Ahmed was also a part of the same conspiracy.
The Co-ordination Committee demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, and Interior Minister Rehman Malik to order an inquiry of the bloody incident occurring in Qazi Ahmed and said that action should be taken against the perpetrators.
The Co-ordination Committee expressed sympathies to the mournful families whose loved-ones were killed in the attack and offered condolences. The committee also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
