MQM Leaders Survey Damaged Properties of Christian Community

An MQM delegation headed by Saifyar Khan, member of Coordination Committee visited the area of Badami Bagh Lahore to express solidarity with the Christian victims of Saturday’s mindless attack. The delegation also surveyed the properties burned down by an unruly mob a day earlier.
Members of the delegation included Shaheen Gilani, a member of MQM Punjab’s executive council, Irshad-ul-Haq, district president and other party office bearers as well as Senator (Independent) Mohsin Leghari.
The members of the MQM delegation consoled the affected Christian Community and assured them on behalf of Mr. Altaf Hussain that the entire party stands shoulder to shoulder with them in these testing times. They said that this incident was an organised conspiracy to spoil the religious harmony in the country and deserves severest possible condemnation.
The MQM delegation demanded the government to apprehend the culprits of this attack and provide adequate compensation to the victims.
