Deputy Conveners of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar and Senator Mrs Nasreen Jalil visited Agha Khan Hospital and inquired after the well-being of the people injured in the Abbas Town bomb blast. Member of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Sagheer Ahmed was also present on the occasion.
Dr Sattar and Mrs Jalil expressed heartfelt sympathies to the wounded people and inquired about their health on behalf of Mr Altaf Hussain. They said that the Abbas Town tragedy was a flagrant act of terrorism which the MQM strongly condemned. They said that the affected people should not consider themselves alone as the MQM was with them.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Sattar urged the government to compensate the families of the people who died and those who sustained injuries. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of all the injured.
