Altaf Hussain condemns bomb attack on Imam Bargah

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the bomb attack during the congregation of Eid Miladdun Nabi (SAW) at an Imam Bargah in Chattian Hattian area of Rawalpindi and killings and injuries of various innocent people.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that people attacked on Imam Bargah were khawarij who utilized the name of the religion for bloodshed. He said that MQM wished to spread liberal and moderate thoughts in the country so the religiously extremist elements could not succeed to impose their so-called Shariah.
Mr. Hussain said that MQM had to bear furious retaliations from the Taliban and ISIS terrorists due to struggling for the truth and rightfulness throughout the country, especially in Karachi. He criticized the government for not moving actively against the terrorists and was unable to provide protection and security to the people.
He demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to take immediate notice of the bomb blast incident and should arrest the accomplice terrorists and their patrons. He expressed his deep condolence and sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for early and complete recovery of the injured.
