Govt. Must Not Ignore Commuters, Gas Consumers: MQM

Members Co-ordination Committee Muttahida Quami Movement and MQM’s Members Sindh Assembly on Friday expressed vociferous concerns on Sindh Government’s dormant and neglecting way of not slashing the prices of public transport fare and suspension of Gas Supply in Karachi.
In a joint statement they lamented that the residents of the city are being treated prejudicedly by Sindh Government as it is not taking care of the issues, miseries of the Karachiites especially of public transport fare and gas load shedding.
They said that few Government’s officials are receiving kickbacks from transporters mafia that is why the transporters deliberately charging the same prices as these were before cut in petrol prices.
MQM’s MPAs said that the lives of the residents have already been made miserable by K-Electric and Sui- Southern companies mismanagement and poor services.
They demanded of the Prime Minister, Governor Sindh and Chief Minister Sindh to take action against responsibles and provide immediate relief to the millions of consumers of the city that generates ninety percent revenue for the country.
