Eradicate Taliban to Save Pakistan: MQM

To pay reverence to martyrs of the Peshawar attack and to show solidarity with the Pakistan Army and the associates of the martyrs, MQM arranged a vigil at the Trafalgar Square in London. Of those attending the event unanimously agreed that in order to save Pakistan it was essential to not only eradicate Taliban but also those elements that are in favour and in support of them.
On this occasion member European Parliament and Chairman Foreign Affairs Committee, Amjad Bashir while sharing his personal thoughts and on behalf of the European Parliament strongly condemned the killings of innocent children and teachers in the Peshawar attack by Taliban. He said that they all stand side by side with martyrs parents and relatives and people of Pakistan.
Third World Solidarity Chairman Mushtaq Lashari while condemning the Peshawar incident said that the killings have not only shook Pakistan but the rest of the world as well.
Chairman Forum for International Relations Development, Taha Qureshi said that terrorism is Pakistan’s number one problem and until this is completely eradicated, Pakistan’s image won’t improve.
Britain’s first Muslim Queen Council Barrister Sabghatullah Qadri said that Peshawar’s incident is the worst form of terrorism which has left every heart deeply grieved and depressed. He appreciated MQM’s clear stance against terrorism and Talibanization and said that other political parties should also have a similar clear stance.
MQM’s Central Coordination Committee member Mustafa Azizabadi while expressing his thoughts said that in order to save Pakistan it is essential to not only eradicate Taliban but also those elements who are in favour and in support of them. He condemned the threatening statements made by Maulana Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid against MQM’s leader Mr. Hussain. He demanded arrest of Maulana Abdul Aziz for claiming killings of Peshawar incident to be just and for threatening civil society and Mr. Hussain for having a stance against Taliban.
Member Coordination Committee Izhar Ahmed Khan said that Peshawar’s incident is the saddest of all incidents in the history of Pakistan for which whole nation is depressed.
Member Coordination Committee Dr. Saleem Danish said that the nation needs to unite again Talibanization and need to openly condemn Taliban.
Member Coordination Committee Imbisaat Malik while expressing his views said that anyone believing in humanity cannot side with those involved in the killing of innocent children and teachers. And those who side with them are equally part of the killings.
Member International Secretariat Muhammad Anwar while strongly condemning Peshawar’s massacre said that peace cannot be established in Pakistan until Taliban terrorists are completely eradicated from the society. Hence state needs to act and launch full operation against Taliban.
