MQM Co-ordination Committee Condemns the Killing of Shia Doctor in Korangi

MQM Co-ordination Committee strongly condemned the brutal killing of Dr Shamim Raza by armed terrorists in Korangi area of Karachi. It deplored that extremist elements involved in sectarian killings were targeting doctors, religious scholars, and other professionals belonging to a particular sect and school of thought one after another.
The Co-ordination Committee has said that religious extremists involved in incidents of targeted and sectarian killings are operating in Karachi with impunity while the government seems totally unconcerned.
The Co-ordination Committee said that a Shia doctor Dr Aziz was gunned down in Korangi area some days ago and now another Shia doctor has fallen victim of terrorism and sectarian killing.
The committee decried the government for failing in its basic responsibility to protect the life and property of people.
The Co-ordination Committee extended sympathies to the grieving family members of Dr Shamim Raza.
