MQM Co-ordination Committee condemns killing of polio workers in Quetta

The MQM Co-ordination Committee has strongly condemned the killing of four polio workers by armed terrorists in Quetta. It said that the terrorists were hampering the eradication of polio from the country by targeting polio workers.
It also demanded foolproof security arrangement for polio workers during the vaccination campaign against polio throughout the country.
MQM leader Altaf Hussain has also been constantly urging the federal and provincial governments to provide adequate security to polio workers who have to go door to door for administering the polio vaccine to children.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the terrorists involved in the incident should be arrested and bought to justice.
The Co-ordination Committee extended sympathies to the bereaved family members of the polio workers who fell victim of terrorism in Quetta.
The Co-ordination Committee appealed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik to take serious notice of the unfortunate killing of polio workers in Quetta.
