MQM to launch membership campaign today
The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) will launch membership campaign from Friday 14th November, 2014, and will appeal to the common people, especially youths to support and be part of MQM to promote MQM Chief Mr. Hussain’s political philosophy.
Talking to the media persons during a press conference in Khursheed Begum Secretariat, the Deputy Convener said MQM is collectively the sign of success for Pakistan. He said that the 98 percent of unprivileged class loved the country more than any other. He said that Altaf Hussain and MQM always raised voice against terrorism and extremism.
The Deputy Convener said that none of the political party in country’s history rendered such sacrifices as MQM did. He said that MQM never patronized hierarchical politics even no member of Mr. Hussain’s family ever got any position in MQM and he always distanced his family from the politics to avoid nepotism.
 He said that only MQM could change the fate of the country and could resolve all the issues of the people. He invited people of all walks of life, especially students to come forward and participate in MQM membership campaign. He said that everyone had to come forward and promote the political philosophy of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain.
Meanwhile, member Coordination Committee Syed Amin-ul-Haq said MQM is a democratic party, so it started its membership campaign from Karachi to Kashmir. He said that in the first phase the membership camp is set up in front of MQM Chief’s residence “Nine-Zero,” and from 15th of November membership camps are set up in Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Peshawar and Quetta.
