Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, a charity wing of MQM, kept serving humanity in famine-hit areas in Thar, including Chachro, where it distributed relief goods and set up medical camps.
In the 4th-Day of relief and rescue work, KKF distributed million of rupees relief goods and medicines among the drought-hit victims of Thar. The MQM delegation comprised of MPA Dr Zafar Kamali, Panjumil, members STC Muhammad Yusuf, Sheraz Masood, Rasool Bakhs Memon and zonal office-bearers kept meeting with the locals conveyed greetings from MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.
The delegation said that MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain determined to rescue Tharis and would soon allow them to live their normal lives. It criticized the government and ministers’ performance was frustrating because the criminal negligence on the issue caused sorrow and grief for the people.
MQM delegation also conducted awareness session to avoid epidemic disease. Meanwhile, the locals thanked Mr. Altaf Hussain for continuous provision of rescue and relief work. They said that if MQM rescue work would not be conducted in the famine-hit areas then the number of deaths would be increased more. They also prayed for the better health and prosperity of Mr. Altaf Hussain.
