Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) continued to help drought-hit Tharis on behalf of the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain.
On 3rd day of relief activities, KKF volunteers set up medical and relief camps in Mithi and Chachro subdivisions respectively. Doctors and paramedical staff from MQM Medical Aid Committee voluntarily provide assistance to the famine-hit people. A large numbers of patients were treated in the medical camp and hundreds of families were given relief goods, including foods, water, powder milk, water cooler and other relief items.
Members Coordination Committee Wasim Akhtar, Abdul Haseeb, Ashfaq Mangi, Iftikhar Rindhava, Ghazi Salahuddin, MQM MNAs and MPAs Sanjay Purwani, Dr Zafar Kamali, Rashid Khiljee, Sabir Qaimkhani, Panjumal Bhel, Dr Nighat Shakil, Dr Fauzia Hameed, MQM workers and office-bearers were also present there.
MQM leaders met with the local and asked their problems and let them ensure to resolve the issues soon. Meanwhile, people who received the relief goods, especially thanked to MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain and prayed for his long life
