Youth from all over Pakistan particularly from Punjab mentally and physically prepare themselves for the call of DR TAHIR-UL-QADRI for 14TH JANUARY to end the medieval feudal system – ALTAF HUSSAIN
 Posted on: 12/25/2012
Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) stated that he stands together with Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri until the end of the corrupt medieval feudal and familial political system and in his revolutionary struggle. He called upon the youth of Pakistan in particular of Punjab to strengthen their arms and bodies for the call for 14th January and prepare themselves mentally and physically and wait for the final call of the Rabita Committee. He said this during his telephonic conversation today with Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran. This discussion during both leaders was held in consequences of the historical public meeting held on 23rd December in Lahore and Long March on 14th January 2013 and pertaining to overall political situation.

Mr Altaf Hussain said that since its inception and until now, MQM is struggling to dismantle the medieval feudal system; MQM introduced leaderships into the parliament from poor and middle class segments of the society and continued its struggle outside and within the parliament to end the archaic feudal system. He further added that we raised our voice in the parliament to impose taxation on agricultural income since 1988 but our voice was always bulldozed because with the exception of the MQM all the members in the parliament belong to powerful landed aristocracy, feudal lords, tribal chiefs and capitalists. He further said that the voice of Minhaj-ul-Quran is an extremely positive addition in the national politics and he was with it. He added that he fully supported the demand of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for electoral reforms and reiterated that electoral reforms are essential for the real change in the system and he called upon Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to remain steadfast and assured him that each and every worker of the MQM stands shoulder to shoulder with him. He emphasised that revolution has become the fate of the country and he could it coming dismantling the barbarism and dismantling the palaces of powerful landowners and feudal lords along with their barbarism. Mr Altaf Hussain stated that time of the materialisation of the stanza of Faiz Ahmed Faiz ;

“Sab Takht Girayae Jaengay, Sab Takht Uchalay Jaengay
Aur Raj Kareygi Khalq-e-Khuda, Joe Maey Bhi Houn Aur Tum Bhi Hoe.”

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in reciprocation on the assurances and cooperation by Mr. Altaf Hussain thanked and said that ending of medieval feudal political system from the country is the commonality between the MQM and Minhaj-ul-Quran. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that indeed, MQM introduced leaderships into the parliament from poor and middle class segments of the society, no one in it belong to feudal class and all are self-made. He further said that he has a simple agenda of establishing a strong and honest and powerful caretaker government with consultation with and unanimity of all the stakeholders that has a vision, authority, competence and ability that has the support of the institutions of the state and that after bringing essential electoral reforms conducts free and fair elections. Moreover, he said that if the elections were held without electoral reforms then out of 400 hundreds Members, only 25 members of the MQM would remain in the house alone who would raise their voices regarding issues of the people and talk of revolution and no change would come about in the system. If electoral reforms are introduced to change the system only then a genuine leadership would emerge in the country and we would retrieve the country from problems.  Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said to Mr Altaf Hussain that two souls of the MQM and Minhaj-ul-Quran’s amalgamated into one body and each and every worker of Minhaj-ul-Quran is your colleague and would lend total support to each other for the change of the system. On this occasion, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri paid condolences to Mr Altaf Hussain on passing away of late Hidayat Ali, father of the Deputy Convenor Mr Anis Ahmed Qaimkhani and prayed for his salvation.
