Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the injuring of Aslam Khan and Muhammad Khalil, the reporter and the cameraman of a private new channel while they were covering the Awami Tehreek rally on Napier Road in Lyari. They have termed it an attack on the freedom of press. They said that the reporter and the cameraman were busy in covering the rally when the armed terrorists attacked them. They extended sympathies to the injured reporter and cameraman and prayed for their health. They stressed upon Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sind Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of the incident and bring the persons involved to book.
