The Central Executive Committee of All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) expressed its grave concerns over illegal extension of the Chairman of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sukkur, Syed Ghulam Mujtaba Shah, a younger brother of the Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah.
In a recent Sindh government notification for extended reappointment of Mr. Shah created an illusion of lawlessness as the Supreme Court of Pakistan gave its clear verdict about it. The committee said that the PPP provincial government once again broke the rule and regulation by appointing a retired government employee.
In a joint statement, the APMSO leaders said that PPP government showed its hypocritical attitudes as it did not appoint Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas boards’ Chairmen even after the advertisement. The Committee members demanded to revert immediately the notification of the appointment of Syed Ghulam Mujtaba Shah.
