Public transport-fare: MQM MPAs slams govt. for letting transport mafia manipulate people

MQM Members of Provincial Assembly in Sindh expressed their grave concerns over public transports’ fare issue that despite reducing the POL prices, the transport mafia still rigid to decrease the fares in public transports in Sindh, especially in Karachi.
In a joint statement, the Parliamentarians stated that commuters mostly travelled by public transports in the province. They said that the government not yet took any measure to tackle the issue and let the mafia to manipulate people’s rights.
The MQM Parliamentarians mentioned that the transport mafia was being excessively profited millions of rupees and people of the entire province suffered great loss on daily bases. They demanded the provincial government to give relief to the people and ordered to decrease public transport-fare.
