MQM Stages Protest At Shahra-E-Quideen Against Khursheed Shah's Blasphemous Comments On "Muhajir"

The Deputy Convener of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that migration was a great Sunnah; while, the migrant was called Mohajir and for any purpose if someone left his home was a Mohajir.
Talking to a gathering on occasion of MQM’s Black-Day over Khursheed Shah’s comment on the word Mohajir, Dr Siddiqui said that there was a difference between refugees and Mohajirs. He said that after Moharram-ul-Haram, MQM would start a movement for twenty new provinces in Pakistan. He said all the participants are true followers of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) while at the other side is unblessed or cursed.
He said MQM is being accused of seeming a religiously extremist rather its claim to be liberal and progressive political party. He said that he would like to mention it that despite all if anyone dared to insult Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), MQM would always protest against that blasphemous act.
Dr Siddiqui mentioned that it was decided that neither Hindu Sindhi could sell or transfer his properties nor Muslims of India could do so and all the abandoned lands and properties would be bartered between both country’s migrants respectively. He said but his forefathers and elder did not even think about claiming the abandoned 80 percent of fertile lands of Sindh, which are now encroached by the tyrannical feudal lords.
He said that when it came to theoretical principles, they would fight and would ultimately retain their fundamental rights. He said the that first Moharram-ul-Haram shadowed the beginning of Hazrat Imam Hussain’s journey to prove himself the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and today’s demonstration reflected the Sunnah of Imam Hussain as MQM stood against the blasphemous act.
Meanwhile, MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said that the sun which was risen from Sukkur and set in the ocean of Karachiites. He said, “We are not feudal lords like you then we could also spend two billion rupees for fetching people from all over the country in our rally.
MQM MPA Heer Soho said that on insulting the word Mohajir, not only Karachi but the entire country would protest against him and termed the act as blasphemous and should immediately ask pardon to Almighty Allah. She said that people who raised slogan “Mursoon Mursoon Sindh Na Desoon” were doing “Khaisoo Khaisoo Sindh Khaisoo.”
Speaking on the occasion, the prominent religious scholar Allama Syed Tanvirul Haq Thanvi said that although the demonstration had religious affections but it would not be matter even if it would be political because it reflected people’s reactions against blasphemy. He said that the descendants of the founders of Pakistan determined to attain their rights and nobody could stop to do so.
Religious scholar Allama Dr Jameel Rathor said, “This is a great congregation which now turns to be a rally of hundreds of thousand people.” He said that Khursheed Shah’s venture to abuse the word Mohajir was a theoretical terrorism against people’s beliefs. He asked Khursheed Shah that it was fine even if you plundered Karachi’s wealth but what did you do with people of Sukkur and Khairpur.
