PWD Wing organizes solidarity event for white-cane people

Person with Disability (PWD) Wing of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has organized a programme to show solidarity with blind people on “the World Day for Safety of White Cane.”
 Talking on the occasion, member of Coordination Committee Haider Abbas Rizvi said that on behalf of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain and his party on this memorable day showed solidarity and felicitated all the blinds. He also congratulated the organizer to arrange such an auspicious programme.
Mr. Rizvi said that everyone should respect the white cane and should pay attention to them. He said that it was injustice to say blinds to those who could not see but people with visual capabilities had no say against the injustice and discriminations. He said that blinds might not see the things but could feel them better than normal people.
He said MQM advocated that all Parliaments should have appropriate quotas for disabled persons, so they could raise their voices. He said that only Altaf Hussain’s vision could send them into National and Provincial Assemblies to represent their people.
Meanwhile, member Coordination Committee Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui said that they all gather because the philosophy of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain and now MQM’s PWD Wing reached at Hyderabad from Karachi. He said that everyone had to come forward to support these people who though not had any visual capability but they did have potential to face the band.
