Without removing aristocratic thoughts, problems remain unresolved: Dr Khalid Maqbool

The MQM Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that Pakistan was facing various problems and those problems could not be resolved until the people truly were empowered to utilize the resources.
Addressing to a reception by Senator Faroogh Nasim at DCRC office in honor to the lawyers fraternity, the Deputy Convener said that the law and order situation was paralyzed and the farmers and labourers were to bear the losses, while the feudal lords led the farmers and the industrialists led the labourers. He said that the nation was still in quest of independence after 67 years of country’s inception.
Dr Siddiqui said that the feudal, industrialists and various political families were continuously ruling the country. He said that the Parliaments seemed the family business of those politicians and the Parliaments also supported the tyrants and autocrats.
Members MQM Coordination Committee Arif Khan Advocate, Baber Khan Ghauri, Kanwar Naveed Jamil, Gulfraz Khan Khattak Advocate, Assistant to Coordination Committee Ghazi Slaahuddin, Provincial Minister Rauf Siddiqui, Justice (retd) Muneeb Ahmed Khan, Justice (retd) Qazi Khalid and others also attended the reception.
He said that various political parties now started propagating to bring poor and middle-class leadership to the parliament, while MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain from inception of his politics sending poor and middle-class leadership to the country’s Parliaments.
Dr Siddiqui said that Mr. Hussain raised his voice against the terrorism while it was in its beginnings and people made fun of him. He said that until the feudal and aristocratic thoughts were not abolished from the society, it was impossible to resolve the issues of the people.
He criticized some of the politicians who never even drank a glass of water in their constituencies now claiming to lead people to achieve their rights. He said that the revolution was possible only when the revolutionary thoughts brought to people’s minds.
Senator Faroogh Nasim thanked to all the guests, especially members of the lawyers fraternity and said that the reception was aimed to unite people in black coats to bring the justice at the doorsteps of a needy person. He said that if I had become the Senator and serving my people at any capacity, was only because the trust of Mr. Altaf Hussain who sent me the Parliament.
