MQM demands salaries for Hindu Government employees before Diwali

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has demanded the Sindh Government to pay out salaries to Hindu government employees before the festival of Diwali. The Hindu community will celebrate their religious festival on 23rd October 2014 hence the provincial government should ensure that the salaries of Hindu government employees are disbursed before this date.
The Co-ordination Committee said if the salaries are not distributed to the Hindu government employees before the festival, they will not be able to celebrate the festival with their families.
The Co-ordination Committee urged on Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice and order for immediate release of salaries to the Hindu government employees.
