Senior MQM leaders, former elected representatives and office-bearers from Hyderabad who had got busy in their personal lives due to various reasons have become active in the MQM once again. Former MQM mayor of Hyderabad Aftab Shaikh, former deputy mayor Hyderabad Rasheed Bhayya, former zonal committee members Sohail Mashhadi, Rafeeq Ajmeri, Asghar Comrade and others have given assurance to Mr Altaf Hussain while talking to him on telephone that they would give full time for the movement. Sohail Mashhadi and Rafeeq Ajmeri have been included in the zonal committee of Hyderabad while others are serving in various other departments of the party.
