In the larger interest of the people of both the
countries, those at the helm of affairs and intellectuals in Pakistan and India
must talk of love and peace instead of warfare. The Kashmir will never be
resolved through war but by meaningful dialogue. And if the so-called
intellectuals have qualms over the suggestion of accepting the Line of Control (LoC)
as temporary border to start the negotiations and do not accept the peaceful
path – then war is the only other solution. Those who dislike peace may go to
war and if Kashmir belongs to them then we will acknowledge this... More

TENSIONS BETWEEN INDIA AND PAKISTAN MUST END

Mr
Altaf Hussain has welcomed the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Dr Man Mohan
Singh to all the Kashmiri groups for talks on the Kashmir Issue. He said that
the tensions between India and Pakistan must end and all the issues including

MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has arrived
back in London from his 15-day visit to India via Virgin Atlantic Flight No.
A111. He was warmly welcomed at the Heathrow Airport in London by the Acting

2004...MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain
met with Indian Foreign Minister Mr Natwar Singh at his residence in New Delhi
on Saturday. Present on the occasion were Senior Member MQM Coordination
Committee and Senior Executive Coordinator for International Relations and Human
Rights Mr Mohammad Anwar and Deputy Coordinator International Relations Division
Mohammad Younus. In the hour long meeting both the leaders discussed the
Indo-Pak relations, progress in developing mutual contacts, opening of
Khokhrapar and Munabao border to facilitate the dialogue, reinstating the
Karachi visa office, to start ferry service from Karachi to Mumbai and other
issues of mutual interests. The Indian Foreign Minister assured Mr Hussain that
he will use his influence towards resolving these issues soon. He appraised the
thoughts of Mr Hussain for better relations between the two nations and welcomed
