LIAQUAT JATOI MEETS ALTAF HUSSAIN TO DISCUSS KARACHI AND THE COUNTRY SITUATIONAT

Mr. Liaquat Jatoi, the Chief Minister of Sindh met Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) founder and leader Mr. Altaf Hussain at the International Secretariat in London in Friday evening, the 9^th October, 1998.

During the meeting besides Karachi, the situation of the rest of the country came under discussion. The Chief minister expressed his gratitude to Mr. Altaf Hussain for personally visiting him in the hospital during his ailment.

Participants in the meeting from the MQM side were Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Deputy Convenor of the MQM Co-ordination Committee, Mr. Anis Qaimkhani, M. A. Jalil, members of the MQM Co-ordination Committee and Mr. Mohammad Anwar, Chief Organiser MQM U.K. and Europe as well as Mr. Asif Siddiqui, a member of the working committee of the MQM U.K. and Europe.
