DETAILS OF KILLINGS OF MQM WORKERS AND SUPPORTERS BY THE HAQIQI TERRORISTS SINCE JUNE 1, 1998
26 June 1998
Mohammad Feroze Mughal, age: 35 year, son of Mohammad Younus Mughal, Joint Incharge of MQM Unit 36, Sector Burns Road, Karachi.
He was coming out of a mosque at Lucky Star, Saddar, Karachi, after offering "Jumma" prayers when the Haqiqi terrorists who had ambushed with sophisticated lethal weapons. Feroze Mughal was shot several times and died on the spot.

Dr. Shakeel Qaimkhani, age: 32 year, son of Mohammad Ayub, resident of House No. 4445, Harchand Rai Colony, near Wall Cut Factory, Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Pakistan. He was a very active member of MQM Medical Aid Committee.
He was returning to his residence in the Block No. 96, (Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre) JMPC Doctors Hostel, when the Haqiqi terrorists armed with automatic weapons attacked him and opened fire from point blank range. Dr. Shakeel was shot several times and died on the spot.

At around 9.30 p.m., the Haqiqi terrorists armed with lethal weapons under the protection of Paramilitary Rangers and other personnel of the law enforcement agencies attacked the house of an MQM worker in Moosa Colony, Liaquatabad, Karachi. They used heavy automatic weapons and as a result three MQM workers and supporters including a member of MQM Elders Wing were shot dead and several others injured.
Details of those murdered:
1- Tanveer, age: 22 year, son of Mohammad Hanif, resident of 3/308 Moosa Colony, Gali No. 5, Karachi. He was a worker of MQM Unit 156, Sector Liaquatabad.
2- Syed Ghulam Mohammad, age: 50 year, son of Mohammad Subhan, resident of House No. 61/67, Gali No. 41/2, Mossa Colony, Karachi. He was a member of MQM Elders Wing.
3- Mohammad Amir, age: 23 year, son of Noor Mohammad, resident of Apartment behind Meena Bazaar, Federal B. Area, Karachi. He was a supporter of MQM Unit 156, Sector Liaquatabad.

Between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., a 13 year old boy Sikander was sitting outside his house when a police party in an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) opened fire indiscriminately. As a result Sikander was killed. The murder of this innocent boy sparked off a protest by the residents including women. These protestors surrounded the Orangi Town Police Station and demanded immediate arrest of the policemen involved.
Mohammad Sikander, age: 13 year, son of Iqbal Ahmed Umer, resident of House No. 254, Sector 1-B, Kaali Pahari, Orangi Town, Karachi.

At around 11 p.m., the Haqiqi terrorists armed with sophisticated weapons, attacked the Sector Office of MQM Ranchchore Line. The Haqiqi terrorists opened fire indiscriminately at those present in the Sector Office. As a result two MQM workers died on the spot while 8 others are seriously wounded.

1- Ismail son of Aslam, a worker of MQM Unit 31, Sector Lyari.
2- Zafar son of Anwaar, a worker of MQM Unit 27, Sector Ranchchore Line.

Imran Ahmed, age: 26 year, son of Abdul Waheed, resident of Flat No. 30, Islampura, Nisthar Road, Karachi, a very active worker of MQM Unit 31, Sector Lyari.
At around 7 p.m., he was visiting his friend when the Haqiqi terrorists attacked him and shot him in the skull. He was immediately taken to the Civil Hospital where despite the medical attention he succumbed to his injuries and died in the hospital.

Mrs. Fayyazi Begum, age: 65 year, wife of Allah Bakhsh, resident of House No. 15, Mohammadi Market, Sector-M, Korangi 3-1/2, Karachi, a supporter of MQM Unit 72, Sector Korangi.
At around 11 a.m. Mrs. Fayyazi Begum was shot and severely wounded while she was getting off the taxi in front of her daughter's residence. She succumbed to her injuries and died on the way to the hospital.

Mohammad Rafi, age: 25 year, son of Abdul Hai, resident of 123, Moeenabad, Malir, Karachi, a worker of MQM Unit 100, Sector Malir.
At around 1 a.m., he was murdered by the Haqiqi terrorists.

Imran Niaz, age: 25 year, son of Niaz Ahmed, resident of N-338, Madina Colony, S-T-9, Sector 50-A, Korangi 3-1/2, Karachi, an office bearer of MQM Unit 76, Sector Korangi.
At around 11.15 p.m., the Haqiqi terrorists armed with automatic weapons attacked the Madina Colony in Korangi. During this attack Imran Niaz was kidnapped and three other innocent persons were murdered by the Haqiqi terrorists. In the early hours at around 4 a.m., an unidentified dead body was brought to Jinnah Hospital Karachi by the Police which was identified as Imran Niaz. He was severely tortured and shot in the skull and other parts of his body.

Sajid, age: 14 years, son of Abdul Waheed, resident of N-160, Madina Colony, Korangi 5-1/2, Karachi, brother of Rashid, an active worker of MQM Unit 76, Sector Korangi.
He was visiting the house of his grandmother when the Haqiqi terrorists kidnapped him and later his dead body was found. He was shot several times.

Arif, age: 15 years, son of Deen Mohammad, resident of N-63, Madina Colony, Korangi 5-1/2, Karachi, a sympathiser of MQM Unit 76, Sector Korangi.
He was kidnapped by the Haqiqi terrorists and shot dead from point blank range.

Rana Mohammad Razzaq, age: 55 year, son of Ali Bakhsh, resident of House No. 29, Opposite Mosque Jamat-ul-Muslameen, Shama Commercial Area, Hyderabad, Sindh, a sympathiser of MQM.
He was murdered due to the firing on the day of the general strike called by the Sindhi Nationalists on 6 June 1998.

Abdullah, age: 28 year, son of Babu Khan, resident of 32-E, Nasir Colony, Korangi, Karachi, a worker of MQM Unit 69, Sector Korangi.
At around 10 p.m. he was shot dead by the Haqiqi terrorists while he was sitting outside his house along with his friends. Due to this firing a 10 year old girl Ms. Reema was severely injured.

Miss Ayesha, age: 14 year, daughter of Mohammad Sharif, resident of Liaquatabad, Karachi.
The Haqiqi terrorists were firing indiscriminately when they shot dead Ayesha.

Amanullah, age: 28 year, son of Murtaza Khan, resident of Sector 10, Hanifabad, Orangi Town, Karachi.
He was kidnapped and murdered by the Haqiqi terrorists from SITE area in Karachi.

Abul Qasim, age: 36 year, son of Babu Azad, 316/7, Liaquatbad No. 7, Karachi, a worker of MQM.
The Haqiqi terrorists entered forcibly into his house and shot him dead from point blank range.

Mohammad Afzal, age: 23 year, son of Mohammad Amil, resident of House No. 223, Block-6, Liaquatabad, Karachi, a sympathiser of MQM.
He was kidnapped and murdered by the Haqiqi terrorists.
