TWO INNOCENT YOUNG BOYS INCLUDING A WORKER AND A SUPPORTER OF MQM KIDNAPPED AND TORTURED TO DEATH BY THE HAQIQI TERRORISTS IN KORANGI, KARACHI

Karachi, June 15, 1998

I - Details of Murders:

A- On 11 June 1998, in the evening, the Haqiqi terrorists, sponsored by the Intelligence Agencies, kidnapped an MQM worker Sajid (age: 14 year) and a supporter Arif (age: 15 year) from Korangi. These young boys were brutally tortured in the torture cell of the Haqiqi terrorists and shot dead from point blank range.

Their details are:

1- Sajid, age: 14 year, son of Abdul Waheed, resident of N-160, Madina Colony, Korangi 5-1/2, Karachi, brother of Rashid, an active worker of MQM Unit 76, Sector Korangi.

2- Arif, age: 15 year, son of Deen Mohammad, resident of N-63, Madina Colony, Korangi 5-1/2, Karachi, a sympathiser of MQM Unit 76, Sector Korangi.

II- Details of injuries, attacks, harassment, firing and torture of the MQM workers and supporters by the Haqiqi Terrorists

B- On 13 June 1998, at around 10 p.m., the Haqiqi terrorists opened indiscriminate firing with lethal automatic weapons in the Liaquatabad Area, Karachi. As a result, following MQM workers and supporters were seriously injured:

1- Syed Amir Ali, age: 23 year, son of Syed Shamshad Ali, resident of 15/36 B-Area, Liaquatabad, Karachi, a worker of MQM Unit 161, Sector Liaquatabad.

2- Zaheer Abbas, age: 24 year, son of Zahoor Hussain, resident of F-62/2 F. C. Area, Karachi, a sympathiser of MQM Unit 157, Sector Liaquatabad.

3- Asif Ali, age: 20 year, son of Wilayat Ali, resident of H-Type, F. C. Area, Karachi, a worker of MQM Unit 157, Sector Liaquatabad.

C- On 12 June 1998, at around 8 p.m., the Haqiqi terrorists were firing indiscriminately in the Liaquatabad Area, Karachi to harass the local residents. Due to their heavy firing Zeeshan was severely injured. He was shot in the abdomen and is undergoing medical treatment at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Karachi.

Zeeshan, age: 16 year, son of Shafaat, resident of House No. 1/77, Liaquatabad, Karachi, a worker of MQM Unit 165, Sector Liaquatabad.

D- On 11 June 1998, at around 5.30 a.m., the personnel of CIA Police raided the house of the sister of Qamar Mansoor, Ex Member of Provincial Assembly of Sindh belonging to the MQM. Mr. Qamar Mansoor was present at his sister's house at the time and he was arrested without any charges. The raiding party also arrested his nephew Azar Abbas.

E- On 9 June 1998, at around 4 a.m., the Haqiqi Terrorists Zaheer alias Pappi, Kazim, Mishal Khan and the notorious Haqiqi terrorists of Lines Area, attacked the vacant house of S. M. Shafiq in New Karachi, Sector 5-F. These terrorists ransacked the house and looted the valuables. Mr. S. M. Shafiq had recently shifted his family to a safe place due to the continuous threats of the Haqiqi terrorists.

F- On 8 June 1998, at around 5.55 a.m., the house of Mohammad Yousuf Khan, MPA and Minister for the Sindh Government, was attacked by the Haqiqi terrorists. These terrorists came in a "yellow cab". They opened fire and damaged the car of the minister. Mohammad Yousuf Khan was at that time present in the house.
