HEAVY INDISCRIMINATE FIRING IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF KARACHI BY THE HAQIQI TERRORISTS TO HARASS THE CITIZENS

AN MQM WORKER AND A TWO AND A HALF YEAR CHILD MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD BY THE HAQIQI TERRORISTS UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF PARAMILITARY RANGERS

Karachi, May 28, 1998

In separate incidents on 27 May 1998 in Karachi, Pakistan, the Haqiqi terrorists have shot dead an MQM worker and a two and a half-year child of an MQM supporter. The Haqiqi Terrorists have resorted to heavy indiscriminate firing to harass the citizens and to force them to close their shops.

Details of those murdered in cold blood by the Haqiqi terrorists:

1- Saeed Anwar, age: 2-1/2 years, son of Zafar Alam, resident of House No. 7186/J/15, Lane 18, Ali Akbar Shah Goth, Korangi, Karachi. His father is a supporter of MQM Unit 78, Sector Korangi.

On 28 May 1998, at around 12 p.m., Saeed Anwar was playing outside his house when the Haqiqi Terrorists started firing indiscriminately. As a result Saeed was shot in the skull and later died in the hospital.

2- Irfan, age: 25 years, son of Ala Uddin, resident of Hanifabad, Karachi, a worker of MQM Unit 125, Sector Qasba Aligarh, Karachi.

On 28 May 1998, at around 9 a.m., the Haqiqi Terrorists were firing indiscriminately to force the shop-owners to close their shops in Hanifabad Area, Karachi. Due to the heavy firing Irfan was shot in the abdomen. He was immediately taken to the hospital where he died due to heavy loss of blood.

The Haqiqi Terrorists armed with lethal weapons are firing indiscriminately in different parts of Karachi. As a result several MQM workers, supporters and their family members have been seriously injured.

Details of those injured:

1- Naeem Siddiqui son of Saleem Siddiqui, a worker of MQM Unit 125, was seriously injured due to heavy firing by the Haqiqi Terrorists.

2- Shakeel, age: 12 years, son of Bundu Khan, sympathiser of MQM Unit 159, Sector Liaquatabad, Karachi. At around 9 a.m., the Haqiqi terrorists started firing indiscriminately in the Liaquatabad area. Shakeel received bullet wounds and have been taken to the Sindh Government Hospital, Liaquatabad. After the incident, the Paramilitary Rangers came to the Hospital and threatened the family members of dire consequences if complaints are lodged with the authorities. The Rangers are not allowing the doctors to provide medical treatment to Shakeel.

3- It is also reported that the Haqiqi Terrorists are harassing the residents of Area 93-A, Landhi, Karachi, by firing indiscriminately and forcing the shopkeepers at gunpoint to close their shops.
