MASOOD AHMED, A SYMPATHISER OF MQM, MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD BY THE HAQIQI TERRORISTS IN KORANGI, KARACHI

Karachi, April 29, 1998

Masood Ahmed son of Manzoor Ahmed, age: 30 years, resident of House No. 400, 51-A, Korangi No. 6, Karachi, a sympathiser of MQM Unit 79, Sector Korangi, Karachi. He was also related to Shafique Ahmed, who is the Incharge of MQM Unit 79.

On 26 April 1998, at around 10 a.m., Masood Ahmed left his house to get the Suzuki Pick-up van from C-Area, Korangi, Karachi. He did not return to his house and later his family came to know about his murder through the newspaper. The family members have strong apprehensions that since he was a sympathiser of MQM and also related to the Unit Incharge, therefore, the Haqiqi Terrorists kidnapped him and later murdered him in cold blood.

Since the General Elections of February 1997, more than 130 MQM workers, supporters and their relatives have been brutally murdered and many have been tortured by the Haqiqi Terrorists under the protection of the Intelligence Agencies.
