MQM is working for peace, sectarian harmony and brotherhood
The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has thanked the general public, religious scholars, transporters, and industrialists for taking part in the peaceful day of mourning observed by the MQM to express solidarity with the mourners of the Quetta tragedy. It said that the people have shown by closing their businesses voluntarily on the appeal of the MQM and sharing the grief of the mourners, that nobody could be allowed to demean humanity at any cost.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the MQM wants to establish a society where there is peace, sectarian harmony and brotherhood. It said that the MQM is against sectarianism and wishes to diffuse tolerance among the followers of various schools of thoughts. as per the teaching of founder and leader Mr. Altaf Hussain.
The Co-ordination Committee commended MQM Senators, MNAs, MPAs, local office-bearers and workers for taking part in the sit-ins at various places in order to express solidarity with the mourners of the Quetta tragedy.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the MQM values the feelings of the mourners and praise them for showing unwavering determination for the acceptance of their legitimate demands
