The founder and leader of MQM has said that Jamaat-e-Islami has established links with Taliban, Al-Qaida and other anti-Pakistan organizations. Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba should be banned for their connections with terrorists and helping our enemies. He added that Jamaat leadership should be prosecuted under Article 6 of the Constitution for their subversive activities.
Mr. Hussain has said that Taliban’s influence is rapidly growing in posh areas of Karachi like DHA, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Society and North Nazimabad.
He deplored that MQM’s workers were arrested and their houses were arrested while no one was willing to arrest the people who were killing innocent citizens.
‘I request Pakistan’s rulers and establishment not to follow double standard like in the past. It will create hatred among people, which will not be good for us. Our ancestors made Pakistan and their descendents want to see a strong Pakistan. ” said Mr. Hussain.
Mr. Hussain appealed to the defense institutions not to follow discriminatory policies against Muhajirs and treat them with equality. He said to military leadership that we were not enemies of the country. “We are not alien and we are your friends and well-wishers. Do embrace us and clear all misunderstandings, “ Mr. Hussain pleaded.
Mr. Hussain expressed these views while addressing party workers in a meeting at Lal Qila Ground. Members of MQM’s Tanzeemi Commitees and office bearers and workers of different wings, elders and women attended the meeting in large numbers. Elected representatives from National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies, senators and former nazims attended the meeting too. The meeting was telecasted live to different cities in Pakistan, 22 cities in USA and 6 cities in Canada and main cities in UK.
In his address Mr. Hussain told the participants about Jamaat and Jamiat members who were killed in drone attacks and Jamaat-e-Islami’s ties with the Taliban and Al-Qaida.
Mr. Hussain said his party and workers had always worked for the development and prosperity of Pakistan. Despite their good works his party workers were being harassed, arrested and subjected to inhuman torture while a party which had connection with international terrorists and enemies of Pakistan were allowed to destroy the lives and properties of common citizens. These terrorists have torture teachers in their rooms and set buses on fire. When police arrest them for their criminal acts courts free them. Is this justice?
Mr. Hussain warned that discriminatory policies of the government, administration and establishment can create disunity and create crisis. He said that founders and elders of this party had opposed the creation of Pakistan. The founder of this party had pronounced Mr Jinnah an infidel and called Pakistan the land of impure people. This is the party whose leader called the election a race of dogs.
Unfortunately, our security forces have made this party their B-team. This party has been carrying out subversive activities in collusion with anti-state elements.
Mr. Hussain said that Jamaat and Jamiats members have been killing army men in Afghanistan and Pakistan. They have attacked office of the army, ISI and defense installations. Why do our leaders support these terrorists?
Hakeem-ullah Mahsud killed General Sana-ullah Niazi and other army officers and Jamaat called the killers martyrs. They do not accept the army personnel as martyrs who sacrifice their lives for the country. It has been proved that Jamaat Islam has been carrying out subversive activities with the assistance of Al-qaida and Taliban.
Mr. Hussain asked why the party and its affiliated organizations that have cut the throats of our soldiers had not banned yet. He has made a demand to the federal government to ban Jamaat Islami and Jamiat for their links with the enemies and providing assistance to them.
