US AMBASSADOR VISITS NINE ZERO TO OFFER CONDOLENCE

The Ambassador of the United States Anne Patterson visited MQM headquarter Nine Zero and expressed her sorrow and grief at the martyrdom of the Convener of the Co-ordination Committee      Dr. Imran Farooq in London. She was received by the Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee    Dr. Farooq Sattar and members of the Co-ordination Committee Mrs. Nasrin Jalil and Mustafa Kamal.

The meeting continued for an hour. The Co-ordination Committee asked the visiting Ambassador to use her influence with the governments and intelligence agencies of the world to for arresting the assassins of Dr. Imran Farooq and unearthing the plot behind the murder.

The Co-ordination Committee also expressed concern about the threats to the life and liberty of MQM leader Mr. Altaf Hussain in London and asked for positive role of the international community for providing adequate security cover to Mr. Hussain. The Co-ordination Committee also showed concern on the 86 years long sentence passed by a US Court on Dr. Aafia Siddiqui and conveyed public disquiet on the issue.
