HUSSAIN APPEALS TO PHILANTHROPISTS TO SERVE HUMANITY BY SERVING THE PEOPLE IN
DESPAIR AND NEED
London
– 27 September 2004 Mr
Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has appealed
to philanthropists to assist the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) in its
struggle to serve the humanity by serving the people in despair and need. He
made this appeal on Sunday, 26 September 2004 while addressing to the office
bearers and volunteers at KKF in Karachi and 14 other cities in Sindh province
simultaneously from London.
Mr
Altaf Hussain reiterated that the philanthropists could donate ambulances
individually while 10 philanthropists could collectively donate coffin
carriers/hearse to the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) to promote the
humanitarian work in Karachi and other parts of Sindh particularly and
throughout Pakistan generally. And,
in this way the KKF could extend its humanitarian assistance in other parts of
Sindh similar to Hyderabad in collaboration with philanthropists.
