A former Sindh local bodies' minister K S Mujahid Khan Baloch on Sunday joined
Muttahida Qaumi Movement along with his supporters at the Nine Zero.
Expressing his allegiance to the ideals of party chief Altaf Hussain, Mr Baloch
said that he had already resigned from the membership of the PML(Q).
Mr Baloch, who had left the Pakistan Peoples Party after developing differences
over the Movement for Restoration of Democracy and later became a minister in
Mohammed Khan Junejo's tenure as prime minister, switched over to the PML(Q).
He joined the MQM in the presence of its adhoc committee members.

KARACHI: Former Sindh minister and PML (Q) Sindh
vice-president, KS Mujahid Khan Baloch has resigned from his party and joined
Muttahida Qaumi Movement along with his community. He announced this on Sunday
at Nine Zero while addressing a press conference where he was flanked by
Muttahida leaders Anwer
Alam, Abdul Haseeb and Haider Abbas Rizvi.
Expressing his full confidence in Muttahida leadership, the ex-minister said Altaf Hussain was the only leader who had the capability to save the country. Baloch said that he was disappointed with the leadership of PML (Q), and said that neither the party leaders nor the workers were consulted before the unification of Muslim League. Altaf Hussain congratulated Baloch on his joining Muttahida.
