Pakistan Peoples Party has been shaken by the MQM growing popularity in Lyari

The MQM former members of Sindh Assembly from areas adjacent to Lyari have strongly condemned the burning of banners and flags by Pakistan Peoples Party terrorists in Lyari.  It was reported that the Pakistan Peoples Party terrorists took down and burned dozens of MQM banners and flags in Kala Kot , Chapal Chowk, Mehrab Khan and Essa Khan Road areas of Lyari.  It seems that PPP is not prepared to accept the growing popularity of the MQM in its traditional stronghold and is turning to mean practice.  The MQM members have appealed to the public to stay calm and not to react to these underhand methods that PPP is adopting to sabotage the MQM election campaign.
