REHMAN MALIK VISIT MQM HEAD OFFICE NINE ZERO, AZIZABAD KARACHI

Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik has said that PPP has no relation with Peoples Aman committee, said that as responsible PPP leader he was saying this categorically. He was replying to a question here during s visit to 90 azizabad on Monday. While talking to media at nine zero where he has come to offer condolence over the killings of MQM workers and supporters during the last two days. Later Rabita committee members held half an hour talk where he offered condolence. Committee was headed by Dr Farooq Sattar. Rheman Malik said all the workers of MQM killed in Karachi are Pakistanis and various other parties but action would be taken against all the killers without any discrimination. Minister claimed that some target killers have been arrested and getting some evidence against them will be presented before media and will also appraise the nation as to how they used the name of political parties.

He said while the population of the city is two croeres comparing this police was being further strengthened besides these relationships between the political parties are being reviewed. He said each and every step is being taken to arrest the target killings in the city. Rehman Malik said this time he has come here with full confidence of President Asif Ali Zardari that no criminals of target killing will be spared either he may be from any civil society or NGO, he said some persons arrested have confessed for killing 15 to ten persons. He said MQM emotions be respected at all cost and it is obvious that their workers gets provoked but thanks to party leaders who advised their workers not to lose patience.

Rehman said last night he had talked to Altaf Bhai last night and during the talk he found that he has lot of love for the nation and country. He said PPP and MQM will work for the development and prosperity of the country.

Interior minister said one and half year back Altaf Bhai had said that there was Talibanization in Karachi and at that time some people have rejected his idea but today “ I say he was right  and whenever will write a book will appreciate his vision.” He said PPP and MQM will work together to fight the menace of terrorism in the country.

Replying to a question Rehman Malik said investigations of the killings of two MQM workers are being made but not only of these investigations, it was also being made of 175 PPP workers killed during last two years, he added.He said besides target killing there are also other problems in the city and other problems will also be apprised to the political parties.

Replying to a question about sindh Home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza he is an elected minister he is working by putting life in danger. On this occasion he made it clear that as a PPP leader Rehman Malik he has got no links with Peoples Aman committee. Later deputy convener of MQM  Rabita Committee and federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Dr Farooq Sattar  speaking to media, he thanked Rehman Malik for visiting 90 azizabad and said during the last two blood bath of innocent citizens  was being carried out and today Rehman Malik has come here for condolence and offered fathea for the departed souls.

Dr. Sattar said we have talked openly with Rehman Malik and expressed the serious reservations of MQM and last night through Sindh Governor had also apprised the President Asif Ali Zardari of serious concerns of Muttahida. Sattar said we have talked openly with our brothers and apprised that there was the government of PPP and no doubt MQM is coalition partner but when the time comes for restoration of law and order, policy making and legislation MQM is not taken into confidence. He said despite being a coalition partner law enforcement agencies are not under MQM but they are under Sindh Home department thus restoration of law and order was their responsibility. Referring to Peoples Amn committee termed it as peoples fasad (violence) committee expressed his serious concern its offices were opened all over the city through a planned conspiracy.
