ALTAF HUSSAIN SAYS MQM IS FOR PEACEFUL CHANGE IN PAKISTAN

Mr. Altaf Hussain, Founder and Leader of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has said that MQM is a peaceful political party and not only wanted to take part in the elections peacefully but wanted to bring a revolution throughout the country through peaceful struggle. He said this while talking to MQM workers busy in election meeting in constituency PS-94 of the Sindh Assembly in Karachi.
He congratulated the workers of Orangi Town and Qasba Aligarh Sectors specially the women and elders for holding a successful public meeting and said that the workers of Orangi Town and Qasba Aligarh Sectors had proven once again through their unparalleled unity that they are with the MQM.
Terming the participation of people of different nationalities of Pakistan in the meeting as auspices he said, “Despite the venomous propaganda of opposing forces, MQM is not only more powerful but spreading throughout the country quickly. Today people from all parts of the country hailing from different background and nationalities are in the MQM”.
Mr. Hussain paid rich tributes to MPA Syed Raza Haider Shaheed and said that the blood of Raza Haider and Dr. Imran Farooq and other martyrs of MQM will bring about a change and “our movement will achieve success”.
He inquired about the preparation made in regard to the by-election and asked the workers not be provoked under any circumstances. He advised them to hold fast and bear with patience in the face of any provocation. He asked the workers to continue to work peacefully while discharging their election duties and to prove that we believe in peaceful struggle. He expressed his confidence that the people of Orangi Town would make MQM candidate successful in the election.
