Taliban has
started open war against Pakistan by attacking Governmental
Offices that symbolizes a War against Pakistan -Altaf Hussain
These
terrorists are open enemies of not only the country, but also of humanity,
and by killing innocent men they have proved that they are not worthy of any
respect or mercy.
Anyone and
everyone supporting them are as much part of these heinous crimes as the Taliban
Condemnation of the terrorist attacks in Lahore and Kohat
London:15th.October2009
Mr. Altaf Hussain, founder and the leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has
severely condemned the simultaneous attacks at three areas of Lahore (capital of
Punjab) and a police station in Kohat and expressed his grief at the death of
several police officials. Mr. Altaf Hussain said that after suicide bombing a
police station in Kohat, the terrorists attacked FIA Headquarters, Manawa Police
Training Centre and Bediyan Elite Force Training Centre in Lahore, and killed
several police officials along with innocent civilians. Prior to this they had
attacked the GHQ Headquarters a few days ago and now have attacked the FIA
Headquarters and police stations. This proves that the Taliban have now started
open war against Pakistan by attacking government offices, and these terrorists
are not only the enemies of the country, but also of humanity. These terrorists
who have been killing innocent men each day are not worthy of any respect or
mercy, also anyone and everyone who has been supporting them are as much part of
these heinous crimes as the Taliban. He said that even today some political
parties are condoning these terrorists by claiming that there is no open war
against the country, but can they say that GHQ is not a government office of
Pakistan but of some other country? The FIA Headquarters, Manawa Police Training
Centre, Bediyan Elite Force Training Centre and the police station in Kohat are
not government offices of Pakistan? He said that the media should boycott all
the elements supporting the Taliban. He also said that these attacks are a
threat to Pakistan’s security and safety and by performing these cowardly acts
they are only conspiring against Pakistan’s strength as a country. He has
appealed to the civilians to co-operate with the army and government officials
in their fight against the Taliban, to keep a look out for suspicious men around
themselves, and show exemplary unity as a nation. Mr. Altaf Hussain has
requested President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, and
Federal Minister Rehman Malik to take strong action against these terrorists. He
sent his condolences to the relatives of the deceased, and prayed for the speedy
recovery of the injured.
