Altaf Hussain calls for roundtable conference on Kerry-Lugar Bill

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has called for roundtable conference on matter of Kerry-Lugar Bill.

Mr. Altaf Hussain was addressing via telephone from London a reception hosted in honour of MQM at Lahore Press Club, by Thinkers and Writers Forum. Intellectuals and senior journalists, members MQM Rabita Committee, Dr. Ali Hussain, Deputy Parliamentary Leader of MQM in the National Assembly, Haider Abbas Rizvi and President of the Forum, Dr. Iftikhar Hussain Bukhari were also present.

Mr. Hussain said the matter regarding Kerry-Lugar Bill is a very sensitive national issue. He said that some of the sections of Kerry-Lugar Bill are related with the national security; therefore, it can not be supported or opposed blindfolded.

Altaf Hussain said that his party is coming to Punjab with all political force along with its political thought and philosophy. He said his party will jumpstart a full-fledged struggle for the rights of suppressed people of Punjab.
