3 to 4 lacks Afghan and other foreign terrorist with latest sophisticated
weapon have reached Karachi- Altaf Hussain

Founder and Leader of the MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain while addressing telephonically to MQM South Africa Unit in Johannesburg at his 55 birthday celebration, that MQM does not want Pakistan to be of Taliban, Al-Qaida, Jihadi and religious extremists but wants Pakistan to be a liberal and democratic country having religious harmony. He said that three to four lacks Afghan and other foreign terrorists along with latest sophisticated weapon have reached Karachi and their designs are to capture whole of Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad.

This gathering was attended by the workers of South Africa along with their families, beside MQM workers the local representatives of the African National Congress (The ruling South African Party) official of Local administration and South African Nationals attended in big number. Mr. Haider Abbas Rizvi, MNA and Deputy Parliamentary Leader of the MQM in National Assembly also addressed the gathering who specially went from Pakistan to attend the function.

Mr. Altaf Hussain said to the audience that MQM wants peace and brotherhood amongst all section of people, MQM is struggling for the rights of deprive people and wants a true democracy in Pakistan. He said MQM wants to liberate 98 percent down trodden, deprived people from the exploitation of two percent privileged Waderas and Jagirdars who are ruling them since 1947. The 98% poor Hari, Farmer, Labour and middle class are under their rule. He said that we want to eliminate the rule of few privileges families from the country and wants to see the rule of poor and middle class people. We want them as ruler and also to see them in federal and provincial assemblies. Altaf Hussain said that the MQM is against all forms of terrorism and its manifestation. MQM is against religious extremism and all discrimination against minorities. MQM desires equal rights for Hindu, Christians Sikhs and other religious minorities. MQM is also struggling for the right of women and wants their rights equal to men in all departments. He said that MQM is against ethnic/sectarian riots and also against the rule of religious extremists Mullahs. Mr. Altaf Hussain said that Pakistan is passing from a very critical stage, Jihadi and religious extremists elements are carrying out suicide bombings and explosion due to which innocent people including young and old women and children are being killed. He said that Jihadi elements in the name of Islam carrying out these nefarious activities and infect instead of serving the cause of Islam they have become a stigma and are defaming Islam. While severely condemning the suicide bombing and terrorism in Pakistan he said that whole country is in the garb of Talibanisation and Terrorism. These elements are now moving towards Sindh about three to four lacks Afghan and other foreign terrorists with latest sophisticated automatic weapon have reached Karachi and their designs are to capture Karachi/Hyderabad and ultimately the whole Sindh.

He said that the armed Taliban has encircled Karachi whereas the people of Karachi are unarmed and Talibans are fully equipped with latest lethal weapons and explosive. He said that unarmed civilians including mothers, sisters, young and old people and children are worried as their lives are in danger. God Almighty once again wants to test us and judge our steadfastness. He said that we do not want to fight with any one but if any one ever attempts to attack us or our locality so to protect our houses, mothers, sisters, daughters and children we will strongly defend ourselves according the Sharia and UN charter. Mr. Altaf Hussain said that the brave MQM’s workers have put their lives in danger and keeping themselves vigilant for whole night for the protection of life / property of their own people. He asked the gathering to donate generously for their companions who are on self help basis providing protection to their own people against the threat of Talibanisation. He also asked the workers to informed their kith and kin in Pakistan to make arrangement for their protection. Mr. Altaf Hussain commended the workers of MQM South Africa Unite for their unmatched sacrifices in the past as they were compelled to leave their houses, parents, brother and sisters and are still struggling for the mission and progress of the MQM. Mr. Altaf Hussain once again commended for their services from the core of his heart he also commended the service of those workers who arranged this beautiful gathering and also thanked all participants of South Africa specially the members of African National Congress and other important local personalities. He also specially thanked Johannesburg administration for their cooperation to conduct this function.
