MUTTAHIDA QAUMI MOVEMENT (MQM) RECORDS LANDSLIDE VICTORY BY CRUSHINGLY DEFEATING ALL RELIGIOUS FANATICAL PARTIES COLLUDED BY OTHER 25 POLITICAL PARTIES IN KARACHI.

 

 ALSO SWEEPED HYDERABAD, SUKKUR, NAWABSHAH AND MIRPURKHAS IN THIRD PHASE OF THE LOCAL BODIES ELECTIONS 2005.


KARACHI...6 October 2005,.ACCORDING TO INITIAL AND UNOFFICIAL RESULTS MQM BACKED HAQ PARAST CANDIDATE MUSTAFA KAMAL BAGS 1518 VOTES OUT OF 2314 TO DEFEAT  ALL THE RELIGIOUS FANATICAL PARTIES IN ALLIANCE WITH OTHER 25 POLITICAL PARTIES CANDIDATE AND THE FORMER CITY NAZIM OF KARACHI NEIMATULLAH KHAN OF JAMAT-E-ISLAMI .

 

MQM backed Haq Parast Panel humiliatingly crushed Jamat-e-Islami's bid for the city Nazim of Karachi. The young and talented Mustafa Kamal, MQM backed Haq Parast candidate and presently Minister for Information Technology scored 1518 voted out of 2314 to unseat the Jamat-e-Islami candidate and former City Nazim Mr Neimatullah Khan who was backed by all the combined opposition parties led by Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA). Haq Parast Panel also triumphed in Hyderabad District where its candidate Kanwar Nawed was elected as District Nazim while in Hyderabad City, Latifabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas and Nawabshah its candidates were elelcted as Tauluqa (Town) Nazims.

 

In Karachi the MQM backed Haq Parast Panel won 14 Towns out of 18 while two Towns were won by its coalition partner with its support. The Haq Parast Panel won the following towns: Landhi Town, Korangi Town, Malir Town, Shah Faisal Town, Jamshed Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town, Gulberg Town, Liaquatabad Town, New Karachi Town, North Nazimabad Town, Saddar Town, Baldia Town, Orangi Town, SITE Town while Kemari Town and Lyari Town  have been won by its coalition partnes.

 

The Haq Parast Panel expressed its gratitude to the people of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas and other parts of Sindh for supporting its candidates, electing moderate and liberal forces while defeating the extremist forces in the third phase of the Local Bodies Elections 2005 like they did in the first two phases.
