A delegation of Karachi Chambers of Commerce and Industry lead by its president Saeed Shafi visited MQM Head Office on Monday 29th and discussed the overall economic condition of the country with Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar and member Co-ordination Committee Raza Haroon. Senator Ahmed Ali and MNAs Rasheed Godial and Khawaja Sohail were also present on the occasion. The delegation comprised Shamim Farfu, Shamim Farooqui, A Q Khalil, and Muhammad Arif. They apprised the Co-ordination Committee about the problems being faced by traders, businessmen and industrialists and gave their recommendation and suggestions for improving the economic situation in the country.
The Co-ordination Committee assured the delegation of maximum co-operation from the party and told them that MQM had made recommendations to the government for increasing national resources and quickening the pace of economic activity in the country. They said that MQM was working for improving the economic condition of common people and taking them along in the pace of economic development. They assured the delegation that MQM would continue to work for improving the business activities and the business community would be duly consulted in this regard
