The Co-ordination Committee of MQM has announced that the dead body of Dr. Imran
Farooq will be sent to Pakistan from United Kingdom on Friday 5th
November and he will be laid to rest in the Shauda Qabrustan in Azizabad,
Karachi on Saturday 6th November.
According to the details the London Metropolitan Police has informed the family of Dr. Imran Farooq and the Co-ordination Committee of MQM about releasing the body. Necessary arrangements are being made in this regard after which ablution will be given. A funeral prayer for Dr. Imran Farooq will be offered on Thursday 4th November in Hendon Mosque situated in West Hendon Broadway after which the dead body will be sent to Pakistan via a PIA flight.
The dead body of Dr. Imran Farooq will arrive in Pakistan on Saturday and a funeral prayer will be held at Jinnah Ground Azizabad after Zuhr Prayer. Deputy Convener Dr. Farooq Sattar and members of Co-ordination Committee Raza Haroon, Wasay Jalil, and Mustafa Kamal will accompany with the family members of Dr. Imran Farooq that include his widow, children and parents.
A joint meeting of the Co-ordination Committee in Pakistan and London was held on Monday took various decisions in regard to receiving the dead body, funeral prayer, sending the dead body to Pakistan and burial arrangements. The Co-ordination Committee has appealed to MQM workers and supporters to come to the funeral of the martyr of revolution Dr. Imran Farooq in large numbers for paying their last respect to the deceased leader.
