Only and only the middle class order can effectively counter the menace of religious fanaticism and sectarian extremism, therefore, one must come forward and bring the middle class revolution in all walks of life including politics and government in the developing countries particularly in Pakistan...MQM Founder & Leader Altaf Hussain

According to independent news and also exhibited in the photographs of the electronic and print media, the attendance was incalculable and considered as an "Ocean of the People".

Mr Altaf Hussain, during his speech said that today is the beginning of the genuine emancipation of women, victory of liberal and progressive forces and a crushing defeat of the obscurantist forces which in collusion with rogue elements are trying to make the country their hostage.

Mr Altaf Hussain further added that this “great rally is a referendum against the religious extremism and he assured that the people of Pakistan  under the aegis of  MQM will eliminate the religious extremism and fanaticism from the country and  each and every worker of the MQM will continue his and her struggle against the religious extremism”.
