MQM KHIDMAT-E-KHALQ FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTES RELIEF GOODS TO DESERVING AND THE POOR WORTH RS 2.75 CRORE

KARACHI (|Nov 09,2004)-----To serve humanity, Muttahida Quami Movement wing, Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation at a huge gathering of poor needy, helpless and disabled relief goods and cash were distributed.

The distribution ceremony was held at the Foundation’s main office in Federal B area, |The value of the items distributed amounted to Rs 2.75 crore Among the items were push carts loaded with vegetables and fruits, sewing machines, electric fans, rice, atta, lentils, sugar, tea and various items to provide relief and means of livelihood for the deserving.

Besides ration packages, wheel chairs, water coolers, clothing for men and women, and blankets were also given. Care was taken not to hurt the ego of recipients who included women, elders and disabled children.

For the purpose, a huge pandal was erected where separate counters for each item was kept. The recipients were earlier given tokens to exchange for their desired goods.

At the ceremony, Haq Parast Provincial and Federal Ministers, Advisors, members of National and Provincial Assemblies besides departmental heads of the party, office bearers, workers attended the ceremony.

Khidmate Khalq Foundation President, Shaikh Liaquat Hussain, Coordination Committee, Pakistan Incharge, Anwer Alam, Trustee Ajmal Dehlvi and Mr. Shoib Bukhari were on the stage.
