Altaf Hussain  announced donation of 1 million Rupees for the affectees in Hunza Gojal
He instructed Rabita Committee to send food provisions and other relief goods to Hunza Gojal immediately
He appealed to take steps on war footings to save the villages and exempt
school fees of the students of the affected areas.

Mr. Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) made a donation of 1 million Rupees to provide relief for the affectees of Hunza Gojal. Mr. Altaf Hussain said that villages were destroyed by the river that changed its directions due to land sliding in Hunza, destroying two villages Ainabad and Sishkut, and now there is threat to other nearby villages.He expressed his grief as they were not provided enough aid by the government. Therefore, he made a donation providing funds of 1 million Rupees for the aid of the affected persons in Hunza Gojal.  He instructed the Rabita Committee to make immediate arrangements to send food provisions and other relief goods to affected areas. Mr. Altaf Hussain appealed to the government to take steps on war footings to save the smaller villages and also exempt students of their schools fees.
