Death of Nirmila Desh Pande is a great loss- Altaf Hussain

Her practical role for the Indo-Pak friendship and rights of the
oppressed would always be remembered

Mr. Altaf Hussain, Founder and Leader of the MQM expressed his deep and profound sorrow over the sudden death of Ms. Nirmila Desh Pande, a senior social leader and Member of the Indian Rajya Sabha.

In his statement Mr. Hussain said that the death of Nirmila Desh Pande is a great loss to those who believe in humanity, peace and brotherhood among the people of Pakistan and India.

Mr. Hussain paid great tributes to the political and social activities of late Nirmila Didi and said her practical role for the Indo-Pak friendship and rights of the oppressed would always be remembered and she will remain immortal in the hearts and minds of the people of Pakistan and India.

Mr. Hussain expressed his heartiest condolence to bereaved families of late Nirmila Desh Pande and prayed that May All Mighty Allah rest the souls of Nirmila Desh Pandy in peace.
