DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF ALTAF HUSSAIN’S FATHER OBSERVED

KARACHI: 13^TH MARCH 2012:

45^th death anniversary Mr Nazir Hussain, the father of the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain, was observed on Monday. Gatherings for fateha were held in the offices of the MQM throughout Pakistan including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.The main gathering was held in Lal Qila Ground, Azizabad. Deputy conveners of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Anis Ahmed Qaim Khani, Mrs Nasrin Jalil other members of the committee, parliamentarians and office-bearers and workers of various wings of the MQM were present. Fateha was offered by Maulana Jamil Rathore. Earlier members of the co-ordination committee visited the graves of the parents of Mr Hussain and offered fateha. They also laid floral wreaths.
