Deputy Convenor of the MQM Dr. Farooq Sattar has been nominated as MQM’s Parliamentary and Hyder Abbas Rizvi Deputy Parliamentary Leaders in National Assembly. Similarly, former Senior Provincial Minister Syed Sardar Ahmed and Member of the Sindh Assembly Faisal Subzwari have nominated as Parliamentary and Deputy Parliamentary Leaders in Sindh Assembly respectively. This was decided in a meeting of MQM Co-ordination Committee today. This decision has been announced by Dr. Imran Farooq, Convenor of the MQM Co-ordination Committee during telephonic address in a joint session. The session were attended by the Members of the MQM Co-ordination Committee and newly elected Members of the MQM in National Assembly and Provincial Assembly of Sindh.

Dr. Imran Farooq congratulated to the all newly elected members on their victories with overwhelming majority. He said that historical victory of the MQM in the Elections is because of the sacrifices of our martyrs, hard work of the party’s workers and the support of the masses and the historical victory is also an expression of completed confidence of the people in the MQM. Dr. Imran Farooq congratulated parliamentary leaders and hoped they will fulfil their parliamentary responsibilities with their best capabilities. He said that the newly elected representatives of the MQM will play their complete role for the promotion of democracy, stability in the country, resolution of the problems of the people and rights of the Sindh province in the parliament.
